REM is my current sport dog. He is a fast reliable flyball dog and a fast, fast agility dog who is hampered only by the abilities of his handler. He has run wheel position on a friends sled team and is an accomplished Disc Dog.

REM is a lapdog any chance he gets. Just ask the two cavaliers that he ousted from their owners laps for the week he stayed with them. REM’s friends and fans all call him a sweetheart. Whenever he is not working he wants to be touching someone. When he is working he will keep going forever. And he will work just for that extra cuddle.

REM is not quarrelsome with other dogs. He can run and play with other intact males without any problems. People are often surprised to find out that he has not been neutered.

REM is a high drive dog who always wants to do everything at full speed. He is an intensive worker who will not be distracted from his job. However, when he is home he is happy to sit quietly at my feet. He goes to bed with my young son. When his is bored he will go and quietly lie in his crate in the basement.

STRUCTURE

REM is a well balanced, moderate border collie. He has nice shoulder layback with rear angulation to match. He has a level topline and good arch of neck. His legs are straight and stong.

He has a soft expression with dark brown eyes and rose ears. REM has a broad skull and moderate stop. He has a strong blunt muzzle with a tight scissors bite.

REM has his Advanced Agility Dog title (SAADC) and several Advanced Games legs. Most of his Q’s have been earned with a Best Run in Trial award. When REM and I put it together he is unbeatable. When we don’t put it together, watch out world. It is UGLY. But it is usually my handling that is at fault. REM is very fast and very eager. Flyball
REM has his ONYX title. He goes to far more tournaments than I do because of his reliability and his willingness to run for anyone. REM is the perfect flyball dog. He does not get wound up waiting for the race to start or his turn to run. He stands quietly without pulling and tugging. I set him up to go with his back feet on my feet holding his thighs. If for some reason the race is not ready to start, I can let go of him and stand up and wait. REM will not move, his feet will stay on my feet. But when I tell him to go, he goes. He consistently runs 3.9 – 4 with and occasional 3.8 thrown in for good measure. As start dog, he is so consistent that he has had many .000 second starts with me and also with other handlers that have run him when I was not available. REM's Flyball Stats

*"Simon Faucer Photgraphe Inc"*	REM earned his DD (Disc Dog) title in November 2003...and he did it in a BIG way. To earn a DD title a dog must earn 100 points. Going into this trial REM had 31 points, so he needed 69 points for his title. Sixty-nine points happened to have been the current record for the most points earned in one trial. Well, that weekend REM beat that record. He earned 76 points. I am so thrilled with him. He only missed one throw out of 14 total. and 11 of the 13 he caught were with all four feet off the ground which earns bonus points. He brought the disc back very fast each time which allowed us to get in 7 throws in each 1 minute round. . REM has beautiful high jumps and consistently catches the disc if I provide him with a decent throw.
