CLARKSHOME BLUE

June 26, 1991 - October 24, 2005

Sadly Blue was helped over to the Rainbow Bridge on October 24. Our vet was good enough to come to our home so we could say our last goodbyes in the comfort of our living room. 

Blue was born in June of 1991.  What can I say about Blue….

Well, he was nicked-named the Pod Dog.  As in, an alien creature that came to earth in a pod.  He has a different outlook on life.  He likes to have fun!  He chases imaginary squirrels. He will bark at a tree and then look at you as if expecting you can make a squirrel appear for him.  The tree can be a giant redwood or a 15 foot tall sapling. Makes no difference to him.

Blue rules the house in a very quiet unobtrusive manner.  If one of the other dogs has something he likes, he goes and starts playing with something else until the coveted toy is dropped by the other curious dog.  Blue then abruptly drops what he has for what he wants.

Blue always played his sports the way he wanted...with great enthusiasm but very little grace.   

There will never be another Blue.  That mold was broken.
